NEWSLETTER, BOOKLET AND PAMPHLET CARTOONS by Fran
I’m often asked to provide cartoons for training
packs and information pamphlets. The cartoons help to break up the text
and give the material a more ‘friendly’ feel. They can also
be used to get a message across in a manner that doesn’t seem
hectoring, strident or bullying. Cartoons can appeal to any user group,
the samples below come from a range of publications aimed at GP’s,
young people leaving care and patients with heart problems.
Usually when clients want this kind of work done they
simply send me the prose and an idea of how many cartoons are needed
and leave the rest to me. I’ll come up with draft ideas
for approval and you can have everything sewn up within a week or two.
