The gag cartoons here are a few from the archives
that were published in either PRIVATE EYE, THE SPECTATOR, THE TIMES,
PROSPECT or THE NEW STATESMAN. I started out like many cartoonists submitting
cartoons to the ever diminishing gag market. My first gag cartoon to
be published appeared in PUNCH before it died.
I really enjoy drawing gag and pocket cartoons, especially
topical ones. There's just something so wonderfully 'immediate' about
them! Cartoons like this can be prepared and forwarded to you
within 12 hours of a brief being received. No subject is too tough and
if I don't come up with the goods you don't pay! What could
